□ On October 14, 2024, the Korea Academic Recognition Information Center (KARIC), Korea's designated National Information Center (NIC) and an affiliate of the Korean Council for University Education (KCUE), hosted a delegation from the Center for Student Services and Development (CSSD), one of China’s NICs overseeing academic records and qualifications. This meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration for higher education qualification recognition between Korea and China.

□ The CSSD delegation included Qian Long, Head of the Survey and Evaluation Division; Han Yangmei, from the Degree Division; Yuan Weiping, Deputy Director of the International Promotion Department; and Chen Wenjun, Senior Officer of the same department. KCUE participants included KARIC Director Minah Park and other key center staff.

□ Director Minah Park welcomed the delegation and expressed hope that the visit would enhance knowledge exchange and cooperation between the NICs of both countries. Qian Long, Head of the Survey and Evaluation Division, responded warmly, affirming their shared interest in further collaboration. Following the introductions, the two sides shared information about the roles and key activities of their respective NICs, enhancing mutual understanding.
 
□ This visit deepened both sides’ understanding of each other’s NICs and higher education systems, laying a foundation for future exchange and collaboration. Both organizations look forward to continued engagement and cooperative efforts in the years ahead.
