Korea Academic Recognition Information Center (KARIC) attended the 10th TAICEP Annual Conference held in Quebec, Canada, to keep up with the latest trends and discussions on credential recognition.
TAICEP(The Association for International Credential Evaluation Professionals) is an international professional organization for credential evaluators, established in 2013. It brings together higher education institutions, National Information Centers, government agencies, and other related organizations involved in qualification recognition. TAICEP works to build and develop optimized theories, methods, and case studies for international credential evaluation.
At this conference, discussions focused on various topics including country-specific trends in credential recognition, trends of Global Convention, interview-based credential evaluation for applicants without documents, trends in the U.S. accreditation system, secondary education qualifications in different countries, recognition of vocational training credentials, the role of credential evaluation in higher education admissions, military education in times of conflict, the effectiveness of digital transformation in credential evaluation, and the latest issues related to qualification recognition.
